I have just completed a book with my co-author Iacobus on Sony's premiere loop based composition software Sony ACID® Pro 5.0. The book is part of the VASST "Instant" series and like other books in that series, Instant Vegas, Instant Sound Forge, etc. Instant ACID is task based and written in a very graphical tutorial style.
